Latreal M. Mitchell – Founder/Executive Director
Latreal Mitchell is the proud Founder and CEO of Fitness Bunch Foundation and a frequent presenter to schools on health and fitness.
Latreal’s love of fitness started at the age of 18. She started aggressively pursuing exercise and forming sound nutritional habits and has never wavered from her healthy lifestyle. Even while involved in a corporate America career, she would let nothing interfere with teaching aerobics classes and training others. But her overriding dream is always to be a spokesperson for children and help them become fit and health conscious, therefore enjoying a better quality of life.
Latreal holds multiple certifications including the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), as a personal trainer and a Group Exercise instructor; NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) as a Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and helped NASM launch their Youth Exercise Specialist (YES) with a national webinar. Latreal has successfully applied NASM’s model to create result-oriented training for youth, plus incorporated most of the flexible programming in her “Get Fit” kid’s workout video to bring quality of life to kids through fitness. She is also is FMS (Functional Movement Screen) and Kettle Bell certified.
Latreal also holds certifications as a nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
